BULLETIN!
Not only does that represent a state of mind, since no one would be well-advised to count me out or under-estimate me, but it also provides something of a positioning statement. I will be a write-in candidate in almost every state (Utah is the notable exception), and I would like to communicate that it is not an accident or an aberration that I'm running as a write-in, and that it will not be a lark, or a joke, to write that name in on the ballot.

CAMPAIGN GOALS: -- Philosophically speaking, my goal is to change minds, one mind at a time if I have to. I said in my speech at the convention that if anything I say or do could inspire someone to launch a legal action to correct an injustice, to become more active in their industry or their community, or to vote and encourage others to do the same, it would be a victory. Some people understand that, some don't. But I feel the same now as I felt then. My goal for the Personal Choice Party is to help create some name recognition for it in as many areas of the country as possible, and to be able to communicate the message that solutions proposed by the party are the right ones at the right time. From a practical standpoint, I feel that it is important to brand oneself as an entity in the political arena, and if I can do that, it will help not just the party, but my own future efforts as well, as I am thinking that this is not a short-term process but one that will likely carry itself through to the next election cycle. |

PERSONAL CAMPAIGN MESSAGE FOR THE VOTERS: -- Be involved. No one changes anything by sitting on the sidelines. Be informed. Information is the most potent ammunition when competing within the marketplace of ideas. Be tough. No one will ever roll over for you. Don't deal from weakness, deal from strength. And don't be afraid to get mad. Nothing ever changed for the better until someone got mad about the status quo. If you indeed understand all this, and can see yourself getting on board with it, then there is no other way to vote than with Charles Jay and the Personal Choice Party, because this campaign exemplifies what a campaign SHOULD represent - a crusade for change. |
